1Click processes the Instagram page and media you choose and uses your existing Instagram session to request that media from Instagram. This processing happens in your browser. SuperMedia does not receive your session, account details, media or download history.
Network recipients: Instagram (www.instagram.com) receives authenticated API requests using your existing session. Media is retrieved from Instagram/Meta media servers on cdninstagram.com and fbcdn.net. No data is sent to SuperMedia, ExtensionTower or an analytics service by the extension.
This policy describes the local 1Click source, version 1.0.6. It adds a Download button to posts, Reels and the Story toolbar. One click saves one photo, video or current Story; a carousel is assembled into one ZIP on your device.
The cookies permission reads your Instagram csrftoken. The webRequest permission observes Instagram requests to learn API headers and GraphQL query IDs. Request header values, query templates and a cache of Instagram usernames mapped to account IDs are kept in chrome.storage.local. GraphQL page tokens may be kept in chrome.storage.session and in memory. The extension does not store your Instagram password. These details are used only to make requests to Instagram.
The downloads permission saves files to the 1Click folder in Chrome Downloads and checks completion. Temporary media bytes and a ZIP object URL are held in a local offscreen document while a carousel saves, then released. A failed carousel item produces no partial ZIP. Saved media, ZIPs and Chrome download history remain under your control after removing the extension; delete them separately in Chrome and your file manager. Removing the extension clears its extension-owned browser storage.
1Click has no reporting, analytics, advertising, payment flow or separate 1Click account. Version 1.0.6 does not open welcome or uninstall pages and does not send visit counts or survey answers. The generic hosted-page paragraph above describes optional hosting capabilities, not behavior enabled in 1Click. Visiting this policy is a website request to ExtensionTower, which is separate from using the extension.
Instagram determines what your signed-in account may access. The extension does not bypass access controls. Instagram and Meta operate their own services under their own policies. 1Click is independent and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
