❓ FAQ Does it work on Reels? Yes. Playbar adds its video controls to feed videos, posts and Reels on instagram.com in a desktop browser. Stories keep Instagram's own player.

Does it break Instagram's mute button? No. Playbar never hides Instagram's player layer, so its sound button still works. When you mute there, Playbar keeps that choice for the next videos.

Can I scrub through a long video? Yes. Drag the seek bar, or hover the video and press ← or → to skip 3, 5, 10 or 15 seconds.

Can I turn it off? Yes. Use the switch in the toolbar popup. The controls disappear at once and come back when you switch them on.

Does it download videos? No. Playbar only controls playback.
